Jacki Falconio is assisting our school districts with their Prop 39 Expenditure Plans and pre-audits to install energy efficiency projects in our schools. She is also developing a Zero Net Energy strategic plan for the county and developing information for our citizens about the process of implementing Zero Net Energy projects.

Garvin Lee is the Energy Efficiency Specialist for San Mateo County Energy Watch through Ecology Action. Garvin conducts lighting and refrigeration audits for small and medium businesses, religious organizations, schools, special districts and municipalities in San Mateo County, and makes efficiency recommendations to help PG&E customers save energy and money.

Ortensia Lopez is Executive Director of El Concilio of San Mateo County, partner and implementer of Energy Savings Assistance for persons of low-wealth and Moderate Income Direct Install programs with San Mateo County Energy Watch. She works in conjunction with Energy Specialist and Weatherization managers to ensure programs achieve contract goals and there are satisfied customers with comfort and safety.

Andrea Pappajohn collaborates with public schools in San Mateo County to benchmark their energy consumption and help find opportunities for energy efficiency. Whether it is a question about EPA's Portfolio Manager, Prop 39 funds, or Bright Schools grants, she can help school districts connect with SMC Energy Watch partners and programs to find energy savings.

Betty Seto is a Senior Sustainability Consultant at DNV GL, who provides technical assistance to C/CAG and the 21 jurisdictions within the county under the Regionally Integrated Climate Action Planning Suite (RICAPS). She specializes in community policy and planning for greenhouse gas emissions mitigation and adaptation to future climate impacts. As part of RICAPS, she provides technical assistance to cities, as well as facilitation of monthly working meetings to bring local jurisdictions together.

Kim Springer is the Energy Watch Program Manager for C/CAG.  He keeps all the contracts, funds, and energy savings in line with our goals.

Ben Butterworth is a Sustainability Consultant at DNV GL who provides technical assistance to C/CAG and the 21 jurisdictions within the County under the Regionally Integrated Climate Action Planning Suite (RICAPS). He specializes in analysis and evaluation of greenhouse gas mitigation strategies and the development of greenhouse gas emissions inventories and forecasts. Nolan Civian is an Energy Engineer for the Energy Division programs at Ecology Action. Nolan conducts Comprehensive Energy Efficiency Engineering audits of municipal buildings for San Mateo County Energy Watch, working with city staff, PG&E and the Energy Watch team to facilitate upgrades for inefficient building systems.

Colin Clark is Senior Program Manager overseeing Ecology Action’s Energy Watch programs. Colin partners with the Program Sales Manager to facilitate communication with the utility, PG&E, and our local government partner, C/CAG, to assure energy and contract goals are met.

Rick Earle is the Program Sales Manager for all Ecology Action Energy Watch Programs. Rick works in conjunction with the Energy Efficiency Specialist and the Program Manager to ensure all of the EW programs implemented by Ecology Action achieve their goals.

Herb Gong is a PG&E Customer Relationship Manager supporting mid-sized business customers in both San Mateo and Santa Clara Counties facilitating the implementation of energy efficiency projects and demand response program participation with the goal of helping customers better manage and understand their energy consumption.

Kathy Lavezzo is a Local Customer Relationship Manager. Kathy is the main point of contact at PG&E for cities and schools in San Mateo County. With over 35 years of experience with PG&E, she assists municipalities and their staff with all utility-related service issues and is a helpful resource. Kathy also provides community-wide data for energy efficiency targeting.

Brandon Montaner is a Customer Relationship Manager, Mid Market Team. Brandon is a CRM with PG&E based in the San Carlos office. He works with many of the smaller k-12 school districts and cities in the county as well as with our mid-sized business customers. His focus is to assist with addressing all these customers’ utility needs, including taking the lead with energy efficiency projects.

Michelle Morales is the Program Manager for Engineering Services at Ecology Action. When cities decide to implement engineering projects for energy efficiency, Michelle facilitates the coordination between the cities, the technical services, and applications for PG&E rebates through San Mateo County Energy Watch.

Lucas Patzek is a Senior Program Manager with the Government and Community Partnerships team at PG&E. He provides strategic, analytical and operational support to the San Mateo County Energy Watch program to assist with the successful development and implementation of local energy efficiency and climate change programs. He serves as the primary point of contact between local partners and the many divisions of PG&E working on energy efficiency.

Rachel Londer is leading the Check It Out! Home Energy and Water Saving Toolkit initiative in collaboration with our local libraries. Outfitted with tools, supplies, measuring devices, and a user-friendly guide, the toolkits can help residents conserve water, use less electricity and save money by taking a few simple actions.

Kevin Lu is working on a countywide outreach campaign to help small and medium businesses to achieve energy savings and lower their utility bills through the San Mateo County Energy Watch lighting retrofit program.
